Imported a patented wound healing technology from the U.S. in collaboration
with Shanghai Centre of Research and Development of New Drugs (SCOND).
Provided
consulting services to the pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co. assisting
in its business development activities in China.
Ongoing
collaboration with Zhongxi Pharma. and Xianju Pharma. to develop ZXH951,
a patented Class I new drug. Clinical trials shall begin shortly.
After
several years of efforts, successfully obtained regulatory approval from
the U.S. Environment Protection Agency (EPA) to market a China-produced
fungicide.
Jointly
established Shanghai GeneCore with two U.S. companies, Applied
Biosystems and Celera Genomics, to conducted genomics research and development
in China and achieved major breakthroughs.
Joined
several venture capital firms to set up Ancile Pharmaceuticals, whose
primary focus is to develop botanical drugs, of which three have been
approved by the FDA to perform multi-center clinical trials.
Together
with Shanghai East Best International (Group) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Pharmaceutical
(Group) Co. Ltd., established Shanghai East Best which has made significant
progresses in new drug development.
Established
in Shanghai the world-class laboratories that integrate synthetic, analytical,
combinatorial and natural product chemistries.
Successfully
carried out multilateral collaborations in Asia (with Korea, Singapore
and Hong Kong); obtained phase II clinical trial approval in China, on
behalf of U.S.-based FeRx, using MTC-DOX to treat liver cancer.
